Qualified Donors:
β’ 16-17 years old (with parent/guardian and signed consent)
β’ 18-59 years old
β’ 60-65 years old (regular donors only)
β’ Must weigh at least 50 kilograms
β’ BP must be within 90/60 β 160/100 (those with maintenance for hypertension may still qualify)
β€οΈ Before Donating:
β Eat at least 2 hours before donating
β Get at least 6 hours of sleep
β Avoid alcoholic beverages 24 hours before donation
β Avoid fatty and oily foods
β Drink plenty of water
π Individuals with tattoos may donate provided that at least one year has passed since getting the tattoo.
